We worked with the director, producers, promoters and subject of the documentary RESURRECT DEAD: THE MYSTERY OF THE TOYNBEE TILES to create an alternate-reality game set in New York City.
The challenge was to produce a game using material from the film, in this case the titular Toynbee Tiles that first appeared in Philadelphia in the 1980′s.
Using a variety of methods—flyers, telephone numbers and social media sites—we tied a real-life experience to the mystery contained within RESURRECT DEAD.
